"The Origin Of Meaning II” dates back to the early 2000s. The painting was originally conceived as artwork for King Oedipus, an opera composed by Stravinsky (1882 - 1971) based on Greek tragedy of Sophocles. “The Origin Of Meaning II” T-Shirt and Hoodie are made with Rafał Olbiński - MISBHV’s collaborator since Spring-Summer 2020 “Sketches Of Ibiza”.
Rafał Olbiński is one of the most celebrated artists among the famous Polish School of Posters - a painter, graphic designer, poster artist and lecturer of New York School of Visual Arts. Author for Metropolitan Opera and the New York Times with his works shown next to artists such as Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Keith Haring and Roy Lichtenstein. In 2012 decorated with Order of Polonia Restituta for his contribution to Polish and international culture.
